Camemburger

- 1 camembert, cut in half
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp italian herbs
- 1 cup beaten egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 ltr groundnut oil for deep frying
- 2 burger buns, toasted
- 2 tbsp mayo
- 2 leaves lettuce
- 2 tbsp chutney
- 4 rashers bacon
- Preheat oil to 170°C/340°F
- Mix the salt, garlic powder and herbs into the flour.
- Dip the camembert in the flour first, then the egg, then the breadcrumbs.
- Take away and fry until golden.
- Top the bottom bun with mayonnaise, then a lettuce leaf, fried camembert, chutney, bacon and the top half of the bun.
