Grill Pan Waffles
 
 
It really burns when a craving for homemade waffles hits and you realize your don't even own a waffle maker. Well, we have the backup plan. Grill them!

Ingredients
  • 1¾ c. all-purpose flour
  • ¼ c. granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. kosher salt
  • 1½ c. milk
  • 4 tbsp. melted butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • Cooking spray
  • Softened butter, for serving
  • Maple syrup, for serving
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a medium bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla. Add wet ingredients to dry and ingredients and mix until just combined.
  2. Heat a medium grill pan over medium heat and spray with cooking spray. Add about ½ cup batter in center of pan. Cook until bubbles form around edges and waffles are easy to flip, about 3 minutes, then flip and cook 2 minutes more. Repeat with remaining batter.
  3. Serve waffles warm with butter and maple syrup.
