Ingredients
3 cups uncooked spiral pasta
1 pound ground beef
½ small onion, diced
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup 2% milk
1 envelope onion soup mix
¼ cup shredded Gruyere cheese
¼ cup shredded Swiss cheese
Optional: Chopped fresh thyme and green onions
Instructions
Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium-high heat, breaking up beef into crumbles, until meat is no longer pink and onions are tender, 5-7 minutes; drain and return to the pan. Stir in cream, milk and soup mix; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered until mixture thickens, 8-10 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in cheeses and cooked pasta. If desired, serve with thyme and green onions.
