Souper Rice


Combine creamy chicken soup, instant white rice, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasonings for a quick and tasty dish.
  • 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 cups instant white rice, uncooked
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasonings
  • ½ teaspoon chicken boullion
  • dash freshly ground black pepper
  • fresh parsley, for garnish
  1. Add the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth to a medium saucepan. Stir and heat over medium-high heat and bring to a boil.
  2. Stir the instant rice, cheese, dried Italian seasonings, chicken boullion, and pepper into the soup mixture. Cover the pan and remove from heat.
  3. Let the rice stand for 5-8 minutes or until the rice is softened and most of the liquid is absorbed.
  4. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve warm!
