Oatmeal Breakfast Bars


Topped with a sweet brown sugar maple glaze, these bars are easy to whip up and guaranteed to be a hit for a wholesome morning treat.
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ⅓ cup oat flour
  • ¼ cup whole wheat flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup oil
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Glaze
  • ½ cup powered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon real maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoons milk
  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray an 8×8 inch pan with pan spray and if desired line with parchment paper leaving a 1-inch overhang.
  2. Add all the ingredients to a medium bowl and mix until thoroughly combined. Pour into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 24-28 minutes, until the bars are set and the top is lightly browned. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
  4. Once fully cooled, remove the bars from the pan and slice into 8 bars. Whisk together the glaz
