Rating
Good biscuits deserve a homemade jam and this is the perfect one. It keeps for about 2 weeks in the fridge and goes great in yogurt or on muffins too!
Ingredients
- 2 lb. strawberries, halved
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- Pinch kosher salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, smash strawberries with a potato masher until coarsely crushed.
- In a large pot over medium heat, add strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil and cook until thickened and bubbles completely cover surface, 20 minutes. Let cool, then pour into a jar with a tight fitting lid and store in the refrigerator.
- Jam will keep stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
